Returns and exchanges

I gladly accept returns and cancellations

  • Contact me within: 3 days of delivery

  • Send items back within: 7 days of delivery

  • Request a cancellation within: 24 hours of purchase

I don't accept exchanges

RETURN POLICY
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final.

EXCHANGE POLICY
Each piece is carefully inspected before it leaves our shop for any damage or defects. Please notify us immediately if you notice a problem.
If product is damaged we will do our best to help formulate a plan to get your piece repaired for you. If not satisfied with product once received we will gladly accept the piece back. 50% of the product price is non refundable.
Customer is responsible for all shipping costs. To and From.

DAMAGES
We carefully inspect each piece for any damages before it leaves our shop. Please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery and notify us right away if you notice damage to the product or packaging. Take pictures and sign receiving paper work as damaged. Kage Design Studio is not liable for damage incurred during shipping and delivery. If a problem does occur please notify us immediately and we will get a claim with the carrier started for you. We recommend purchasing the insurance. That can be quoted out at the time of purchase.

Payment

We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, paypal and Etsy gift cards.

Making any payment serves as your signature. Once marked as paid whether by check, cash, credit card or any form of payment that is considered a signed, legal binding contract stating you are in full agreement to all the shop policies.

Once payment is made that is confirmation that you agree to the "ESTIMATED" lead times listed at the time of purchase. Please Note: We will do our best to inform you of any delay/advances. If you are in need of your product by a specific date, that needs to be requested and verified before payment is made. We will do our very best to accommodate an earlier completion date. There is no guarantee.

Most of our orders require a custom Purchase/ Listing.
If you purchase any listings there may be additional charges if correct dimensions/ details and shipping info are not accounted for.

Delivery

SHIPPING + LEAD TIMES
Current Lead Times are *Approximately* 12 Weeks on all ORDERS.

If you are in need of a product sooner contact us with all the details to ensure accommodations.

We ship nationwide using the fastest, safest, and most reliable and cost effective way possible. Upon shipment a notification will be sent via email including tracking information. We recommend you track your package online or on the phone with the carrier. Most companies provide an estimated delivery date. Be sure to contact us if anything seems unusual with the shipment.

Once your item arrives at the delivery agents pick-up location, they will call you to set up a delivery appointment. Most truck delivery companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-4 hours) between 8:00am and 5:00pm EST, Monday through Friday.

The item will be delivered to the driveway or curb outside of the delivery address provided upon purchase. It is the customers responsibility to transport the product(s) inside. If you would like INSIDE delivery please request a quote, freight carrier will move package to garage or inside front door. Several freight companies offer additional services to help move merchandise from the truck into your home or office + assemble the piece(s) and take the trash away. Let us know and we can provide you with the WHITE GLOVE service quote.

Additional Policies and FAQs

WOOD DISCLAIMER
The characteristics of any wood used to build your product may vary slightly from the wood used in any samples or product photos due to the individual characteristics of the material. No warranty and/or guarantee is made with respect to the precise color, or appearance of finishes on any product. All of our products are completely handmade, and we make no representation or guarantee that any product will look exactly the same as another.

OUTDOOR / EXTERIOR WOOD PRODUCTS
Best Material For Exterior Use | Teak, IPE, Red Balau, Oak, Poplar
Other materials are suitable as well if care is taken.
A slatted wood design is recommended for all outdoor/exterior wood products. Any piece requiring glue is recommend to be in a covered location. A furniture cover is always recommended for all exterior pieces. Wood of any kind in uncovered exposed spaces will begin to weather, age, wear or even fail over time if not covered or even better removed from the elements. Refinishing may be needed over time. We offer repair kits + instructions if needed. Kage Design Studio is not liable or responsible for any signs of wear or failure of product due to exposure.
